Ahhh Los Barrilles...paradise in Baja. Should have given her the place in Chandler and kept the one in Los Barrilles. Fishing in Penasco is mainly bottom fishing not much topwater to speak of. Won't be seeing many of these Los Barrilles Dodo's in Penasco Look familiar

That fish is in the grunt family. I call them Burrito Grunts, cooked up they are tasty with some hot sauce and all rolled up in a tortilla.

It is about 160 miles from Penasco to San Luis and an even 200 to Mexicali. I drive it all the time, easy fast drive. But watch your speed in San Luis I got bit there not too long ago. The toll road is about 8 bucks. There is also an agricultural check point going south and they will ask...
