thank you to everyone, another great Thanksgiving weekend with our RP forum friends. from the turkeys, all the food, drinks, road trips, and eating well, we sure had a grand time. We look forward to gettting down more often, and are looking ahead already to St Pattys day in March, if not sooner...

sounds good, we should be pulling in about 1pm, will drop off plates+silverware etc at Chucks prior to checking in at PDO. can't wait to see everyone!

seems like having everything in original packaging helps after reading thru these different topics and link - not a real problem if food is in original container, it should have the stamps and approvals. thanks!

ok - are we going to have to give up our bread, eggs, cheese, avocados, tomatoes, etc at the border? we haven't been down since last year ( I know....), have they really cracked down on rv's at the border, and searching their fridges and food? I sure would like to know exactly what is forbidden...

we'll miss the folks who aren't able to join us - looks like the weather forecast is agreeable: 68 Thursday, 70 Friday, 73 Sat + Sun. has there been any talk of a boat trip to Bird Island again this year? I know that the 3 of us would surely like to participate.

I'll be checking out Rosie's website for rv insurance prior to our Thanksgiving day trip south to PDO and the potluck:) we met Rosie there last year, and I agree that supporting the local businesses is a good thing.

Michele will be making the trip down with us again this year :)

we'll bring the plates, silverware, and napkins as before, and some type of snacks. and another batch of margs and a sippin bottle :) can't wait!

saw it was exactly a year ago I started this thread, which was exactly a year after the 2009 post. we're planning our return, and can't wait to see everyone. PDO here we come :)

Bill, I like your little Suzuki (makes a great emergency tarp holder for a rainstorm), but we just don't have enough use for it yet. poor rv hasn't been camping since Memorial day weekend, but does get some drives just to run it. hope you and Edna are doing well :)

Teri and I are both at work this morning instead of on the beach at PDO - not what we were hoping for, but as important as keeping our day jobs is, this is where we need to be. have a great weekend folks.

saw a post here that Manny's will open for March - didn't see anything about February. not to be a smartie pants with this reply - but the weather is going to be cool, 61-62 for a high. we're still coming down. where are you staying? we'll be at PDO on the Mirador.
