Eduardo, we haven't tried Brisas yet.....it was on our list, but we didn't make it. Definitely will be checking them out in a couple of weeks. Everything I've had at Mary's is good.........can't beat her place!!!!

We decided to try tacos at a couple of different places in Old Port. We always go to Asadero Guss (it is on a side street, but you can sit upstairs and still see the fish market), because Bruce eats only carne asada tacos (BORING!!) and I eat any kind of tacos...........and they have the best of...

The bakery is on the corner of Sonora and Cuahutemos.....the people that work there (owners I'm assuming) are so nice and everything is soooo yummy!!!

Speaking of La Cubanita, just can't get enough of that place. I said it was my favorite, but that's a little unfair....it's the only bakery I've been too!! But when something's that good, why go elsewhere???? (I did but a pan de casa at Bodega out of curiosity....it was good, but not bakery...

We had breakfast there this morning....what a nice little place!! The lady that works there (she may be an owner) was delightful, the food was yummy, it's very clean and it's right around the corner from my favorite bakery!! (La Cubanita) We're pretty bland when it comes to breakfast...Bruce...

There was a shortage of Pacifico last weekend, but I did find it at the Michigan Market....just to let you guys know. The store across the field from Reggie's is where we always go, but they only had Pacifico Light. Does anyone remember Pops, Reggie's "righthand man"?

I finally got the jist of it........the people on the boats were locals and the boats were just doing a "cruise" around the area, just part of the celebration. Duh!!!

I was told by someone that the number of cars crossing the border for Memorial weekend was the largest in five years.....I believe it because this place was hoppin'!!!! It was, and is, so nice to see..........there's quite a few people moving into PDO as we speak..............

I've seen the signs for the Fiesta de Marina around town, but for some reason I thought it didn't kick off until next weekend......don't know where that came from, LOL!!! Anyway, looks like they'll have a good turn out!!! (Btw, it wasn't the marines.......these were big fishing/shrimping boats...

Just saw another one......where are they coming from and what are they going to do once here??? Not that's it's any of my business, mind you, but it just piqued my curiosity, LOL!!

Sitting here watching three large fishing boats passing by PDO on their way into the harbor and they are full of people. I am talking standing room only on all three.....anyone have any idea as to what this is all about????

We will be going down Friday morning (27th) and coming back on Sunday (5th). Not sure about the boat trip yet, but we will be beach front at PDO!!!!!

I was one of those jet skier's and it was one of the most awesome things I've ever experienced!!! Glad to hear the weather is nice....we're headed that way in a couple of weeks!!!

Sorry, that is the name of the hotel............the name of the restaurant escapes me now, but I know someone can help me out???? (Maria something or something Maria???)
