We went by the Gila Bend shrimp farm about 6 months ago out of curiosity. It looks like its been shut down for years. Nothing but dry, long rectangular ponds. The little equipment remaining looked in pretty bad shape

It was beautiful today! Calm sea, breezy enough to offset the humidity. Sunset was delightful on the patio. I didn't trust the calm Saturday so didn't haul all my gear to the beach. Its too much work for just one afternoon. We could have had 2 really nice days over the reefs at Las Conchas :-(

We had a really wonderful meal there last night - the Tequila shrimp is fantastic. Met the Chef, too - we will definitely go back again.
