Sorry I didn't look at the gas prices.....but diesel on Monday (2/17) was 7.36 pesos/liter....which comes out to $2/gallon. The exchange rate was running around 14 pesos/dollar (NOT at the gas station...but at the banks).

I filled up in RP this weekend....at the station on Fremont.... Regular = 7.29 pesos/lt ==== $2.09/gal Premium = 9.18 pesos/lt ==== $2.64/gal Diesel = 6.81 pesos/lt ====== $1.96/gal I got 13.2 pesos for a dollar at the bank across the street on Friday. The rates were fluctuating all weekend.

Not trying to hijack this...but I have 3 kayaks I'l like to get rid of....haven't used them in a few years.....2 are sit on top...a one seater, and a 2 seater. The 2 seater is very stable....used it extensively at RP before I got jetskis. Never flipped it. The one seater is great for surfing...

Isn't a boat a "hole in the ocean that you pour money into"???? or is that just a sailboat??? :roll: :roll: I just had to take one of my jetskis to the dealer....it died last weekend out on the water.....with fuel injection and computer controlled....I'm dreading the bill!!!

You'll be a little shocked when you go looking.....CostCo was $48 for a 35 lb jug and SamsClub is $55.....last year I bought it for about $28. Not sure if the jub(in a box) is a bit larger then last year....

Yeah...I always paid "tips" to a couple of regulars at the harbor...who helped with the launch (very little required with jetskis), and "watched" my truck. The guy collecting the fees charged me $10 (for 2 jetskis)....I think I'll be driving out to Cholla instead! Burn a bit more...

Haven't launched my jetskis in the harbor for a couple of months. Had them down this past weekend. When we went to launch them in the harbor (where the fishermen do), was told we had to pay $5 PER SKI to be able to launch and park. When did this start...and what's the story? The guy...

Kenny...I'm glad to hear of the good news. My dad died when he was just 50 (cancer)....he had been a heavy smoker when he was younger, although he did quit. I guess he didn't quit soon enough...or maybe it was those cheap, unfiltered cigs they had in Europe.... Again...glad to hear things...

Although they may accept a "copy" of a birth certificate, the requirement is for the "original"....plus an "official" government issued ID, like a drivers license. Time is running out on this requirement.....2009 is just around the corner.
