I can't believe Verizon will unlock the phone for you to use on another carrier...even though their's is not GSM (like Telcel or Movistar).

I was under the impression that unless you were an "owner", you couldn't bring in quads into Los Conchas....

I would still like to know what "authority" they are referencing to do the traffic stops and searches....particularly the Sheriff's Office. When I went thru before Labor Day, there were only a few vehicles in front of me, and the only one that they had open the trunk was a Mexican plated car......

I have to agree with Ink about Flavio's...ate there once...not impressed at all. Love Mary's....their seafood soup/stew in aluminum foil is fantastic!!! So is the combo dinner...fish and shrimp for 2 (or 4).

I'm next door to Chuck....and depending on whether my friend Rosemary comes down, we might have access to her covered patio area a couple of spaces over. However, I won't be down until late Thanksgiving day (like after 9pm....) if someone wanted to do it on Friday....

Thanks Stuart....I've been down there a few times....and the sand is definitely very soft. I wouldn't want to be there late at night...who knows what kind of activity goes on there.... I've gotten stuck out on the sand at San Jorge (broke thru the hard crust)...had to have a local pull me out.

That may be, but with the old system they use ( I think it's the X band), every time they turn it on, the signal travels quite a bit...and you can pick it up from previous "applications" as you're approaching.

Radar detectors don't work well enough when they are using those hand held radar....by the time the detector goes off...you're caught. The Sonoita police usually hang out in the same area....just when you come off the shortcut (Arizona Market), or up the hill before you leave town. The speed...
