    Screaming Deal 650k

This is a joke, right? I fail to see how a two bedroom casita like that (not even near the water) is worth $650,000. Plus, it looks kind of beat, no character, no landscaping. Somebody would have to have to have way more money than brains to buy this at that price!

First Annual Bird Island Party Trip

Roger... as in Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. As in "What would Roger do?" in my signature. They are doing a January show at JJ's Cantina in Cholla Bay.

Yeah, I got the update on this yesterday. Looks like a January trip is in order!

    radiation - positive test

Step AWAY from the wife!! Well, now we all know the silly things actually work. I can't imagine she was glowing in the dark or anything, so they must have those instruments dialed into super detection mode to pick up even a faint trace of medical radiation like that. Either that, or...

    ICE Pendajos. Passport or not.

Now now, children. That will be enough of that. Jerry? You need a break from the forums again? Do not let "liberal" start creeping into your posts and there's really no reason to be calling anybody out. Happy Thanksgiving!

    What are you thankful for?

It's been a rough year. I'm thankful for lots of things - my family, that I have a new job, that I didn't get behind on any bills (barely), that I get to enjoy the Sea of Cortez. I'm also thankful for all my amigos and amigas here that appreciate so many of the same things that I do.

    What is it?

Mystery solved! The unusual fish is commonly called a "cusk eel." Technically, a "Pacific bearded brotula." Some guys on another fishing forum I frequent knew what it was right away. Apparently, they catch them in the Gulf of Mexico, too. "I've caught fish like that in the Gulf. Ours were a...

    What is it?

Mark - always the comedian! Fish, duh, a given! What kind of fish? The tail is almost like an eel, the rest of it looks like a baqueta or grouper. I find it amazing that after fishing the Sea of Cortez for over 20 years, you can still catch something nobody has ever seen before. Well, maybe...

    What is it?

Audi caught this on his boat Saturday. We're all clueless as to what it is; we've never seen anything like it. Anybody want to venture a guess? That's part of the thrill of saltwater fishing - you never know what's going to be tugging on the other end of the line!

    Joke Thread...

Those are as bad as the old Confucious sayings: Man who eat jellybeans fart in Technicolor. Virginity like balloon; one prick, all gone! Woman who eat chocolate instead of work get behind. Baseball very funny game--man with 4 balls no can walk!! He who fishes in another man's well...

    Hi-Jacking

I've seen or heard nothing on this, unless it's something that happened a long time ago. If it had happened recently, are you kidding me? It would be all over the news with the way the media likes to promote fear and hype about going to Mexico. Go, have a good time. You are more likely to...

Spa's in Rocky Point - advice?

Are you kidding? I hate "political correctness." Keep politics outta here, but I don't care about political correctness.

    Blue Fin is bad

Crab can be real hit or miss in Rocky Point. Living in Maryland spoiled me - nice fat Chesapeake blue crabs by the bushel basket. Several years back, I noticed live blue crab at the fish market and bought several dozen. I had to continually wipe the drool off the steering wheel on the way home...

    Blue Fin is bad

Considering Japanese buyers are waiting at the docks and pay upwards of $15,000 for a single, fresh-caught fish, one bluefin tuna can make or break a fishing season for a lot of the East Coast commercial guys. Not mentioned in the article - Japan consumes 80% of the bluefin tuna caught in the...

You're welcome! In over 20 years, I've only seen a pod of vaquita one time, and that was earlier this year. Very rare to actually see one.
