Kenny, what type of gas do the sprints run? One of the reasons we couldn't get racers to come down for jetski races was the availability of high octane gas (AV gas) in Penasco, and the hassle they got at the border trying to bring it in.

Maybe the owners of Wrecked at the Reef know something? That was huge pile of money used to remodel the place from the old Reef Bar!

The hole is still there, but I'm sure with the winds and blowing sand, it's filled in somewhat. I recall that the plan was to dig a channel thru there to go to Cholla Bay.... I'm sure the condo owners would love to see the Reef RV park area get used for a terminal area, shops, etc

I thought the locals still used the drag strip outside of town on a regular basis????

Depending on how the ship was pointing at the dock, the rocking would beat up both the ship and dock.

Crossed on Monday about 2pm....4 lanes open, with 2-3 vehicles at each....took maybe 10 minutes to clear. Had my dog with me, but the customs guy didn't ask about papers, although the checkpoint on the US side when I was going down on Friday did ask about them . The secondary check stations...

There are a couple companies that do weddings down in Penasco....let me check (they're on Facebook)....I'll post a link or two later...
