Russ...on Thanksgiving Day weekend when I was heading home Sunday evening, there were a pile of sand rails and 4wd vehicles, etc., being towed down to Penasco from the border....looked like all Mexican plates. Has that been a regular event in the area?

Now Kenny, I really have to take umbrage with that characterization of my post....on a scale of 1 to 10, as far as rude rants go, I would have to put mine at somewhere around a 3 or 4 compared to some of the stuff we've seen on here. And as for a New York type response, it would be a minus 2...

Please don't "ass"ume that you know me...or my likes or dislikes..... Also don't throw your "opinions" on business models that may or may not work in Penasco as being "gospel" and putting down those who may disagree with you!

Again..."opinions" are coming into play...from someone who characterizes oneself as a person who's in bed by 10....obviously you spend a lot of time in the local establishments (Penasco)!

I have to go with the dawg on this one....Elixir is shoulder-to-shoulder on one night....I don't believe it is open the rest of the week....and sorry, I don't consider it an upscale place...unless you want to stand or sit around shoulder to shoulder with almost no room to move....and want to pay...
