evicted from bella sirena part 1

Refreshing to see a place that actually enforces (after polite warnings) its rules as well as municipal law on behalf of its customers.

New storm may have an impact next week!

Hope the windage and waveage has diminished from previous reports, when it was farther south . . .

New storm may have an impact next week!

I hope it takes that sharp right turn to the east sooner than later!

    Finding Sanddollars at low tide?

Well, and I have also noticed that so many people (often guests over the years) gather up a truckload of shells, wash them off, and then -- looking a little dumbfounded -- ask, "Now how are we going to get these all home . . . and what will we do with all of them?" The old "shells in a jar"...

New storm may have an impact next week!

Yep -- They even had to ferry the workers from Mayan to the Caborca Road for a day or so. They did run drainage pipes under (perpendicular to) the Miramar/Dorada Road back then (and I suppose the Mayan as well), so hopefully the roads will stay intact next time . . .

New storm may have an impact next week!

That's what is projected at this point -- it will have diminished to a tropical depression. (I remember when Nora hit -- the front windows almost gave way.)

New storm may have an impact next week!

Oh, that's just great. Not a nice refreshing rain shower, but a tropical depression. Plan to go down on Saturday. Hope there's something left to go to . .

Those -- along with a few captions / stories / approximate dates-- would comprise a great coffee-table book.

Yeah -- and since Hendrix and other musicians won't there, we are planning to all whistle "Purple Haze" in unison.

Going back for first time in 7 years

Go to "Forums . . . General . . . Tips for A First Timer." There are pages of current advice. It seems that you are among lots of people coming out of their hidey holes lately to share the fun. Have a great time.

    Beatiful Weather- 8/10/2014

    We were there during that time . . . almost chilly in the nighttime breeze under the supermoon . . . glass of wine . . . chairs in the sand . . . no one in sight . . . . distant lightening providing a light show . . . amazing . . .

    Paint advice

Just got back from the new Dunn Edwards place -- just south of where Constituccion and Benito meet up at the traffic light, west side. The English-speaking guy in charge said they've only been opened 3 weeks, and -- while his grand opening sign is not up yet -- he currently is offering a...

Okay -- I give up -- Can you narrow down the location of the "old Casa Bonita warehouse?"

    Penasco tourist ride?

Well, at least those of us with "ear clearing" problems would not do well. I, for one, will have to settle for the video . . .

    Air conditioners

Exact thing happened to our 18-year-old Trane 2 weeks ago . . . turned out to be blower motor, which had gotten water into it, and burned out. Removed the motor (with similar effort as you), took it back north with us to Trane in Tempe, where they advised that those older versions did not have...

    Air conditioners

Sorry -- don't know. Have no experience with refrigeration places in Penasco -- just have passed a number of them, such as one south of Sam's toward Dominguez.

    Air conditioners

What do you mean, "It died?" What doesn't work? Does the indoor fan work? Does the outdoor fan work? Does the compressor work? In all cases, the most likely component failure is a starting capacitor. Replace it and you're good to go. (There is a refrigeration place in town.)

    Every car checked

I hope this was simply due to some temporary "alert." They've"tightened" the crossing requirements considerably as of late, and additional obstacles at the border will not encourage tourism.
