SAN FELIPE TO ROCKY POINT THE WET WAY

No "we" my friend. I left Facebook a couple years ago and haven't looked back. (But yes, society on their cellphones are basically mindless idjiots.)

SAN FELIPE TO ROCKY POINT THE WET WAY

80 > 26 by a long shot! I could see that trip to Catalina in a group like that. I'd want a boat as back-up. You know as well as I do Mexican waters are very unforgiving -- there isn't always someone to come and get you when things go wrong. Still, it would definitely be an "adventure." Most...

SAN FELIPE TO ROCKY POINT THE WET WAY

As for a jetski to San Felipe? Cray-Cray talk right there. I've transited back and forth from San Carlos to Santa Rosalia a few times, but only on the best of days, in a 28 ft. very seaworthy boat. 75 miles each way. If you're not experienced with the Baja side, I wouldn't attempt it. There are...

SAN FELIPE TO ROCKY POINT THE WET WAY

Politics, Kenny. As you well know, it drove much of the drama here and why it was relegated to it's own place in hell on here. The divide has only grown larger in the time we've been around.

So how's it "stacking up" down there?

    And....here they come!

After Semana Santa.... the beaches are trashed. Well, so is much of the town. But the overwhelming grossness to me was - all of the soiled diapers on the beach. They seemed to be like stinky little land mines, everywhere. Oh, the humanity of it all.

    And....here they come!

Puerto Peñasco is preparing to receive more than 130 thousand vacationers in Holy Week, estimated Ernesto Munro Lopez. The mayor of the port said that they will reinforce the security of the municipality with 150 state elements and a helicopter of the Ministry of Public Security, in addition to...

Anybody But Me Been Hearing This Ad on the Radio???

Don't be an old fart. Have a drink or two and go mingle. The craziness of it all can be fun. Been there, done that.

    Fishing the tide?

Both those days look good. If beach fishing, I'd always arrive at low tide, check out mud reefs, cuts, and structure, then fish as the tide started coming in. Out on the reefs, would always try to arrive as tide was going high and fish the slack until it started going back out. As said...

Someone better hurry, build that port!

Well, that's ONE thing I'd check out pretty thoroughly before going anywhere on that tub!

Someone better hurry, build that port!

That's actually not a bad idea. I can't imagine how they will tender right now and the article stated that's what they intend to do. Beat up, wet, fishy pangas? Maybe the ship has its own tenders? Hard to know at this point.

Have the whales come back yet?

We saw some finbacks out near the 51 late December, but nothing in closer.

Someone better hurry, build that port!

Well... I was thinking they might be able to squeeze it into the main harbor. Maybe, just maybe, on a full moon high tide. Good luck getting it out of there! :laugh2:

    Feliz Navidad to All!

Hope each and everyone of you have a wonderful Christmas, whether you've been naughty or nice!

    Anybody hear about this? Gruesome!

Meh. Still saying as above. First time we pulled up a great white on a fish head in a panga at the tip of San Jorge told me everything I ever needed to know.
