    Goodbye everyone

You're one Tough codger Bob! After all you've been through, this appears to be just another swell in the ocean. Jonathan and I sure enjoyed our trip to PP with you several years ago. That was quite the trip; up every morning at 0400 for hot breakfast, public launch, onwards to reefs. We tried...

    Stuart Help please

CC are definitely serious fishing machines! But like Stu's said, there is a lot to be said for a small cabin walk around. Our cabin gets used every trip, your fishing buddy gets sea sick and needs rest for a couple of hours, your wife, grand kids seek shelter from the sun or wind thrown spray...

    It's an outrage!!!!!!!!!

It easy to see why folks didn't notice the cops directing traffic over to form a new line. We were in line when they pulled up on the dirt in the opposing traffic side, walked across the street and started a new line. By this time the line was already quite long, well beyond the Wendy's.

    It's an outrage!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I've gotta agree with BIG MAC. We were also forced by the Mexican police to start a second line. We were in the front towing the boat, tight squeeze at times. Got lots of fingers from folks we passed. I can understand their frustration, and have had been in that line like Stu and thought...

Boating Emergency Assistance out of Puerto Penasco

EPIRBs' vs SPOT I've researched SPOT vs EPIRB's and EPIRB's have advantages. I contacted Dave Carter from Boat US about the two devices, SPOT and EPIRB's (thanks to a SF article, Which one is right for you?) and here is his reply. The short answer to whether the Mexican Navy will respond...

    Corvina catching

The forty is not that heavy (its a 1992 johnson/evinrude =Johnrude short shaft), but I don't carry it far. Honestly I don't have a clue as to how much it weighs... probably better that way. Ya' know Ric, I'll vary my tatics depending on the season. For instance I've only caught red snapper...

    Corvina catching

Not sure what you mean Bill, the weight or bulk? l Usually I'll have the boat in shallow water and set the engine on the transom (engine in tilted position) and tighten the hold down screws. The engine is heavy, wouldn't want to set the skeg on my foot. The boat is a rocket with a 40. Goes scary...
