Thanks for the recommendation on Skin So Soft. I had forgotten about it working as an insect repellent. Just picked up a bottle of it with a spray pump. We'll put it to the test this weekend.

We're heading down this weekend to stay at Playa Encanto and the biting gnat report concerns me. I'm a gnat magnet and react to their bites with big welts that last 3 weeks! Does anyone know if any particular type of repellent keeps the gnats away? I had DEET on last time I was around them...

I heard she had moved her office to Plaza Melanie on Blvd Fremont last year, but I don't know where it is exactly. I haven't been down to RP for several months, but purchased car insurance through her website in October with no problems.

This was one of our favorite restaurants, mainly because of the wonderful staff and the great chiles rellenos. Some of the servers were there for 20+ years and we looked forward to seeing them whenever we visited. I hope they hire some of the old staff back. I look forward to seeing reports...
