I am coming dow for the first time in a long time so here is my laundry list of questions:
Best way to the malecon from Las Palomas though the construction?
Best seafood? (I'm guessing Marys)
Best carne asada tacos?
Is sea products the best place to buy shrimp?
Best breakfast still Kaffee House?
Best place to fuel up?

Best way from Las Palomas to Malecon is to follow the beach road around Playa Bonita to 13th street and turn Right at the light on Luis Encinas and follow that to Benito Juarez, if the construction is done that will work, if not follow the local traffic to the Malecon, it is easy.
Best Seafood? It's all good, Mary's is a favorite but there is also Combo Taco which is also a favorite with the locals, I had steamed fish and veggies at La Casa del Capitan last week that was outstanding.

Best carne Asada tacos, in the Malecon there is Viva Mexico and Chinos on the weekends, in the center of town there is Brissas a local favorite and also La Vaca Chinta on Benito Juarez, if in doubt look for the crowds.

Seafood products is a great place to buy shrimp.

Koffeehuas is good but so is Guiseppes Coffe and a view Playa Bonita Resort

Fill up in the States as it is cheaper, if you neeed gas on the way out try to make it back to Sonoyta as gas is about 50% cheaper there than Peñasco.

Doughnuts at the place across from Al Capone. Can't think of the name.
Fuel up in the US- I don't know how the locals can afford to drive
Good breakfast at Max's.
Really good breakfast at Lucky's
Shrimp doesn't have any flavor now, still a good vehicle for salt, garlic and butter.

Kaufee Haus for breakfast (Huevos Rancheros and Apple Streudel)- hands down
Burritos Longos on Fremont by the entrance to Las Conchas or Tacos Poblanos
Mexican Beach Bum for Coconut Onion Rings for appetizer
Blue Marlin for Dinner (Shrimp Tacos, Shrimp Quesadilla or Garlic Flounder)
Thrifty Ice Cream for dessert and walk to the malecon or Satisfied Frog for Deep Fried Tequila
