Labor Day Trip and Weather

Just rolled into Cholla Bay at 4:30, Wow the wind turbine is huge.
The weather is pretty typical, Really Toasty, it was 98 going down the road to Cholla.
Got to my house and flipped on the mini split A/C, will see how long it takes for the house to go from
91 to something a bit more bearable. At least the humidity isn't 80% only 65%.LOL

GV, Humidity going down, Naaaaaah!! Fri at 9:30 and its 89 degrees with a dry 74% humidity.

If you stay the whole week some storms are supposed to be around RP for Fri-Monday.
Probably the end of the Monsoon season.

Miami Florida is actually nicer currently. It's 89 with 69% humidity.
That helps evaporate the cerveza from ones body.
Enjoy your stay.

I don't know Uncle Jack...Mount Wrightson in a tent sounds better at that humidity

But Mt Wrightson doesn't have the beautiful beach view, El Serape tacos, Longos burritos, or dolphins playing. It's not that hot here in the shade by the water!

I'm sneaking in on the return route of the freedom train. They'll never look for me there.

My kids have worse records than I.

Went back to Phx yesterday, one lane open into the USA, and all north bound traffic was routed through the secondary inspection and I was waved through.

One thought on the humidity in RP, when I got home to Phx at 5PM, I went to BBQ some food and was outside for 10 minutes at 102 degrees in some shade
and I wasn't hot at all. Amazing.
Just walking through my garage in Cholla to lock it up maybe 5 minutes resulted in some serious perspiration.
Even my local Mexican friends were complaining about the heat and humidity this week but said only 2-3 more weeks of it left.
I don't know about that, I been there in late Sept a few times in the past and it was still pretty taxing on the sweat glands.

I will miss the view of the ocean and the laid back atmosphere of being in Mexico, but I only have to wait until Oct to see it again, minus the Mucho Calor. ;)

Well, we are on the ocean. The one good thing is I don't have the aches and pains from it like I do when I'm on Long Island or in California.

When you're swimming, it's warm, but you can feel the cold water from your knees to your toes - cooler temps are coming!
