Puerto Penasco Pet Peeves

They used to charge a deposit on soda bottles our kids would pick them up and trade them in for candy or more soda the area was much cleaner and would give them something do of course at that time their was no video or Elect. Only let say 25 yr ago. How time fly's.

There was a time when almost all the window washers were kids on Rodeo drive. Yes I know, a lot were sent out by their parents, but still the vibes were different back then.. Ha, I knew we were in trouble when they switched to selling Chiclets instead of washing windows.

. . . and the window-washing kids of old were replaced with Chiclet-selling kids, and more recently are being replaced with begging kids. (When the well-fed little ones boldly approach me for money, I gently tell them, "Sure -- in exchange for what?")

Stores with prices not marked on the goods for sale. Particularly in the Malecon. I am at the point that I will not shop in any store that does not have prices posted. Unfortunately most of the segundas fall into that category so if I am looking for something I ask a Mexican friend to get the price and buy it for me if I want it.
