Rocky Point Beaches

This is a cool different kind of map of the local beaches that starts from the North and goes along the coast south and ending at the second estuary.

Painted by a local girl who will be making many more in different colors...blue, orange, grey, red or if you have a specific color you want you can order that as well. They are acrylic on canvas and are 52 inches tall and 20 inches wide. This one was just finished and still a bit wet when I took the picture.

The cost is $125.00 and you can email her at [email protected]

North beach is 2 developments west of the Mayan Palace. It was heavily promoted during the real estate
boom and more than a few people got hosed because of ownership issues and the real estate people
who helped these people get hosed. Nice area though.

Well, I know there's Mayan . . . then Miramar . . . then Dorada . . . then ruins with rusted rebar in a section that was once billed as North Beach . . . then Encanto . . .

Went towards Black Mtn. today, It has changed a bit since last time there 4-5 years ago.
The Laguna Mar and L. Shores really make it a pain to use the beach there.
Really need to go north of L. Shores to find any open beach to play on, there is a
1/2 mile part in-between the 2 complexes that is good.
Got there just past high tide so the water should have near the beach, but really it was already 1/3 mile out.
That is why I would rather go south for beach days away from RP.
