So the mayor sighed a new contract with an outside company that left plenty of people unemployed, anyone in the know? 9 months of garbage problems can take a toll. I'm just for a cleaner Penasco no matter what it takes.
If you could read the spanish newspapers or would you wouldn't sound like you have no clue what is going on and when they MIGHT pick up your trash!how did it leave anyone unemployed if someone has to collect the garbage?......maybe some are no longer employed but others are employed so the same number of employees are working, but they have different names.....I don't care what their name is as long as I get my trash picked up on a timely basis (which hasn't happened yet)
Commie, Pinko, RatfinkBan plastic bags, plastic water bottles and serve all food on a stick or a shell or a coconut...
Those are the trucks I saw, clearly a City of Penasco logo on the side. The red bow is a nice touch too!!Here is the picture I saw.
Sounds good if they don't jack up the price like the Euros that run the Caborca~Santa Ana toll road did this year.Sure does look like Penasco city hall from Freemont, the pic I saw was at rockypoint360. This pic also looks like City hall.
It doesn't matter as long as there is decent trash collection service now.
TECMED begins trash collection service in Puerto Peñasco
City press release<img class="alignright wp-image-23094" alt="Tecmed" src="http://rockypoint360.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/IMG_9429.jpg" width="448" height="298" />On the morning of June 17, 2013, Puerto Peñasco Mayor Gerardo Figueroa Zazueta waved the flag to mark the launch of trash collection services under a public-private alliance the City has established with the Spanish company TECMED. Accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Rafaela Félix de Figueroa, and business leaders from TECMED, the mayor celebrated the beginning of the new services, which includes seven 2013 model dump-trucks, each with a 7 ton 20 cubic yard capacity. Four former mayors were present at the brief ceremony, along with representatives from numerous city sectors including business, fishing, and services. The mayor reiterated the most viable option to resolve the city’s serious trash problem was this public-private alliance.
What about rocks? I have cooked and eaten off of flat rocks before. It works awesome around a fire and your natural plate stays warm.Ban plastic bags, plastic water bottles and serve all food on a stick or a shell or a coconut...
That's always the problem with privatization of public services. The contract company works tirelessly to get incremental increases in price until it's through the roof. Not to mention payoffs and corruption. The privatized prison system is pretty much a disaster and a travesty. Might be better than Sheriff Joe but only a little in most cases.Sounds good if they don't jack up the price like the Euros that run the Caborca~Santa Ana toll road did this year.
