Peñasco Trash Mob / Gang Against Garbage, nonprofit group composed of both American and as rocaportenses of all ages, continues to make the selfless and positive work of cleaning the streets of this city, this from that initiated activities in early 2013.
Actions such as that carried out on the morning of Friday May 17 by Fremont Boulevard, an area that has been cleaned in many instances by the group and as Larry says Beamunt, creator of the gang, "We clean the streets as a war where you have to appropriate areas first, then conquer the whole territory, in this case Penasco ", make the city gradually begins to be interested in a culture of cleanliness, which may not be noticed right now that garbage collection is in crisis and causes a lot of waste in drums and containers fly to the streets by the wind create an image of mess all over the city.
The Trash Mob founder Cliff said that this city has been growing interest in helping citizens without any compromise and that on the contrary, put part of their time and effort to pick up trash that others throw in the streets.
For now you can already see the transformation that has been taking positively Fremont Boulevard, it is worth mentioning that it is the cleanest of Cliff Boulevard and all thanks to the hard work of those who make this move.
Similarly, this movement has been triggering the creation of more groups of people who begin to form brigades in their colonies to keep them in order and litter, making cleaning this culture grow as time passes, this invites think Larry Beaumont, would my good existing clusters create a brotherhood where there is feedback on what has been achieved in every fight, and why not in the future make a union that strengthen all and thus make Puerto Penasco one of the cleanest cities in Sonora and Mexico.
The cleaning crews, who have benefited much of the viewing area, Avenida Sinaloa, Sonora Boulevard, part of Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez Boulevard and Fremont Boulevard now totaling just over twenty those carried out, where stands a better equipment as time passes such as the use of motorbikes who were conditioned a trash can, garbage collecting arms and good amount of cans and garbage bags to continue with the work, said Larry Beamunt.

This sounds like it has really been a successful undertaking. I heard Larry Beaumont started this back in January and Freemont Blvd has been pretty much completely free of trash ever since. Driving down Freemont, from City Hall all the was to Las Conchas, is a stark contrast now compared to the rest of town.

Would be great for a big group from this forum to join them on their next Trash Mob and future Trash Mobs. I have heard they only go out for a couple hours, but with all the equipment, trash trucks, garbage picker tools, etc, they can make a pretty good dent in a short time. It would be great if this became a movement of sorts as the town has desperately needed this for a long time.

Leave it to the citizen, Larry Beaumont and friends, to clean up the trash. The city sure doesn't give a rip about it, that's for sure!
