It's brand-new and already I've become a regular. Their food is incredibly good. The menu might resemble Yoli's, but the food is in a class by itself. You're right Roberto...Real Mexican food.Yep, it's similar to Jolies. Real Mexican food.
Do they take credit cards? It's brand-new and already I've become a regular. Their food is incredibly good. The menu might resemble Yoli's, but the food is in a class by itself. You're right Roberto...Real Mexican food.
It's weird that you can't leave a tip on a credit card at any place now. Cash tips only. Why is that?
Thats ole dads doin'.The last time I went there I noticed the food wasn't as good as it'd been previously. What is it with new restaurants? Why can't they be more consistent? Anyway, Patrick...I now agree with you. All the State Police eat at La Fondita, so maybe they just got too busy. Oh well, I tried another new place last week (watch for a post on Cha Cha's)
Not true Terry. Although I usually prefer to tip in cash, last week I tipped on the CC along with the bill at Puesta del Sol restaurant. You can't add tips to credit cards anymore in Rocky Point. Cash only.
Now I wish I had read ALL the comments on here before I went there today (2/17/14). I thought the food was good but not as excellent as some of the first comments I read. We had the "enchiladas Sonorenses" which are really more of a sope type dough, the chicken tacos and the posole. All were good but they could be better. For example, the chicken in the tacos could have been better with some more condiments and perhaps a bit of tomato when cooked before using it for the tacos. The posole was good but a bit sparse on the meat. The last time I went there I noticed the food wasn't as good as it'd been previously. What is it with new restaurants?
