Lovin it in RP!
The road trip we have made thats been our favorite so far is from Penasco to San Carlos/Guaymas, then onto Mazatlan for 2 days, then onto Tequila for 2 days, then to Guadalarjara for a couple more, down to DF for a few, then up to Queretero and Guanajuato then back to Penasco. It takes at least 18 dys but we have done it twice from Penasco and love every minute of it. Keep in mind that tolls can be as much as your gas expense.

. 93 pesos from Caborca to Santa Ana has to be a record!

True. Our trip last night was not one of my favorites. We left Penasco at 1:00 am Sunday morning on the bus. Went to Hermosillo arrived at 7:00 am Sunday morning, after breakfast we had classes until 4:00 pm then we got back on the bus at 5:00 pm and arrived back home at 12:30 am Monday. Round trip no beds 23 1/2 hours total cost for us both 1200 pesos its a deal but it takes a toll on my old body

The road from San Felipe to Gonzaga Bay. Not for the faint of heart, but rugged, beautiful, Baja at its finest.

The beach at Punta Chivato. Could live there the rest of my life.

And as Russ said... San Carlos, then driving on down to Mazatlan.
