When I come into Sonoyta I always hit the brakes and keep it at 40-42kpm, at the 20 kpm sign at the pedistrian crossing, I slow down again,
really pisses of the locals who want to go 70kpm because they are in a hurry to get somewhere usually 2 blocks away. LOL
As far as speed traps go the Ajo sheriffs have been shooting radar in the US check points. A couple sheriff cars were parked in-between the 25 and 35mph signs
shooting radar, there were 3 sheriffs working together. They got me for my 1st ticket in 20 years, 10 over at the 35mph sign.
The park rangers have been really busy the past 5 trips down, they had 3-5 cars pulled over every time.
I sure don't mind giving the Sonoyta police $20-40 for my law breaking instead of the $220+ to the AJO court and have to go to a defensive driving class.
