How was the Roger Clyne and Black Carl Concerts?

Surprised there hasn't been any chatter about the events from this past RC weekend.
The only thing I heard was at JJ's,the band Black Carl didn't show up until 10PM, the start time was supposed to be 8PM.
Not many people were at JJ's when they finally showed up, a big Dud event for JJ's. Sad.
Organized, who did it? maybe no-one.

Lovin it in RP!
Black Carl hit the border after the main guy who knew they were coming was on break. In retrospect they should have been here a day earlier but such is life everyone has to work. They performed to a small crowd but the reviews are just awesome. Saturday night was pretty much flawless, Wrecked was packed and I believe everyone was happy with everything. Emmas voice didnt come through as strong at Wrecked as it was at JJ's but she is hard core rocker, her voice is amazing and she gets you into the music real fast. Roger and Ph did a fantastic job all night after that. If you missed the shows you missed a lot. It was the first time for Black Carl to perform here but be sure they will be here again.

I had a group of 19 women here for the weekend. 15 had never heard of Roger Clyne and none of them have been to a show, they all had a blast and none of them wanted to go back to their home, Naomi and I didnt get home until after 2:00am Sunday.

Hope thats enough chatter. The weekend was a hit! More to come!

As far as the big dud.....Jose is not crying over it. He would have wished they would have gotten there on time but hey life is imperfect. When Black Carl got there those in attendance were rocked! They delivered.

Russ ,
I missed the show,, I got here yesterday. I would have loved to have seen both concerts,
I have been to 2 of the June, JJ's concerts and have photographed them for Joe in the past.
I am glad it was a good concert with talented performers.
As far as Joe goes, he cries about alot of things. LOL

Joes not crying he just wished things went smoother even though these things take care of themselves to a point, it takes a lot of energy and time to bring them together. Its all good in the hood!
