Hippo woes

Lovin it in RP!
So my hippo decided not to start after a shopping trip to Los Pinos hardware and the to the Tecate store on the train tracks and Revolucion....The guy in the store was sorry but he didnt have jumper cables....I didnt have mine either because I was a bonehead.

So after I am out there for like 5 minutes looking for someone to jump the beast. the kid from the beer store comes out, says he found a 1/2 inch wrench removes the battery from his jeep, puts it in my hippo and I start it.....end of story..what an act of kindness.

You dont love the people of Mexico? then you have issues! I love them!

Hey, that's a Nissan Patrol, I had one of those once. Almost as hard riding as the old International Scout was. Bone Jarring.

The truck I have now, a 2wd Nissan Titan, is worthless in the sand. One day out in the barrio visiting Ana's abuelo, I got too far off the road and, whomp, up to the axls. Surveying the scene, a family drove by in an ancient and decrepit SUV of some sorts, hooked around and offered me a tow. Had a strap and , voila, back on the hardpack. Wound up the strap and started to leave when I realized that the SUV had not moved, then I heard the tick tick tick of a starter motor with not enough voltage. Carefully pulled up next to them, got the jumper cables, connected up and he was free to go. I have found that the local people are always willing to help.

That Patrol sits on a 85 chevy blazer frame and running gear, with a 88 chevy luv bed, it is a beast to be sure
but it needs a new battery

Try the battery shop across from Lucas Chicken on BJ. I bought a new Kirtland there for 600 MP about a year ago. Nice people too.
