A Good Insurance Agent Does Matter

This morning a large double pane window at our place shattered into a million pieces. Fortunately it was safety glass and stayed in place rather then exploding all over us as we were sitting right next to it.

We immediately called Rosie of ProAlliance (our agent - thank heavens!) and Adriana of Client Services. Within 10 minutes or less Rosie called back to say that Tito of Santana would be on his way shortly. Adriana and Domingo (maintenance) showed up on our doorstep within the same time period. Within another 15 minutes Tito was here taking measurements. Then Domingo & Modesto showed up to remove the broken pane.

Granted, it is figured that it will take two weeks to order in the odd size window.

But I've had it take longer to get a live person at an insurance company in the States on the phone then it took for the claim to be started and repairs underway.

I can't say enough about Rosie and her staff at ProAlliance and about Bella Siena's staff. They are wonderful.

And, hopefully, the glass will arrive on time :)

I think our El Gato lost at least one of his lives when it went while he was napping near by. If he were a kid he probably would have been yelling "I didn't do it".

We were totally impressed how quickly your staff responded. And I didn't even need to keep punching in numbers, get cut off and have to call back, listen to music for an hour while I waited for another computer to tell me it would only be a few more minutes, don't hang up or I would lose my place in line.

Instead I got you immediately with Patti following up within in moments. Talk about service!!! Please give your staff a big thank you from us.

What a nice post, Gato! I'm glad we were able to resolve it and that no one was hurt.

I think anyone building custom or looking to buy a resale can learn from this window incident....don't build too custom...crap breaks and it is nice to be able to take it out with ease when it does and replace with off the shelf components.....the Mexicans like to cement in everything...even dog doors!

Cheap is expensive, Why would someone use cheap Sh*t to build a house in mexico, milgard makes great windows they expand and contract, They have to have low e and tint, otherwise they will be calling insurance agent and be posting on here....
