I waited by the gate all weekend but no one showed up !!Somewhere in freezing Canada a guy like us is looking at a picture of your hacienda....next year at this time I predict it will be sold...for your price...
I stayed at Bella Sirena for a week begining Christmas Day. It was very quiet. For fun I counted the cars I could see in the Sonoran Sun parking lot each morning before people get going. The first morning, 5. Then 11, then 14... New Years Day morning I counted 42. This was only on one side of the parking lot (so double this number) and only what was in my line of sight (but I think that included most of the lot). A saimilar influx occured at Sirena. Sandy Beach still wasn't crowded (it's a big beach!), but people were definitely there. Great to see that. What a perfect weekend, and beautiful weather to bring in the new year. On Friday, Playa Miramar was graced with hundreds of dolphins, jumping, doing flips (unfortunately we missed it). We ended up on New Years Eve at the Lighthouse, and I was surprised how crowded it was with Americans. We spoke to another group from Tucson, and they were staying at Las Palomas and said Sandy Beach wasn't crowded at all. We guessed all the Americans were possibly from houses-i.e. Las Conchas, or trailers- any other observations?
