Another Great Thanksgiving weekend

Thanks to everyone who worked to provide a splendid Thanksgiving. The weather was a little blowie gut other than that it to was very nice. The company, the food and the comradorie coud not have been better unless more of you had been able to come down.
We did not do the boat ride this year as the weather was expected to be bad. Maybe next year. No fish no fish fry. We dd get to have great shrimp supreem tacos via Terry.
All in all it was a super great weekend with fiends and food.

Sorry we missed you guys.. I heard you took good care of Michelle's dad. We will see you all on the 8,9, 10 Planning on hauling the boat down for some winter time fishing.

The food was great (and there was plenty of it)...as well as the company.....

Thanks to Rosemary for the use of her patio...and Chuck for helping me clear everything out and put it back afterwards! The "ambiance" from Val's table arrangements was great (even if I said I believe in the "kiss" method!).

If some of you didn't know, Rob and Michelle provided a couple of turkeys as well as peanut oil/deep fryer, even though they couldn't make it down!

I'll be posting some photos the next day or so....

thank you to everyone, another great Thanksgiving weekend with our RP forum friends. from the turkeys, all the food, drinks, road trips, and eating well, we sure had a grand time. We look forward to gettting down more often, and are looking ahead already to St Pattys day in March, if not sooner.
y'all have a great Holiday Season, we'll be checking in here!

Yes, thank you to all for another special Thanksgiving!! It was great seeing all the wonderful folks that I've met in years past. I've been down with Joe & Teri for 3 years now (I couldn't go before-hand as I was with my Mom & Dad who are both now gone) & I feel that many of you are family. An extra thanks of course goes out to Joe & Teri for having me along. And, Chuck, Val & the dogs, thank you for a real good time. I very much appreciated the trips/sightseeing!!! HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE OVER ST. PATRICK'S DAY WEEKEND (at least that's our goal - see Joester post above). AGAIN, THANK YOU ALL!!!!

I apologize for not yet posting the pictures I took from the potluck. Have been occupied trying to get a real nasty virus/trojan I picked up on my computer removed....UGH! Trying to avoid reformating the drive and re-installing all my software!

Maybe this weekend......

Finally able to get some photos up...sorry for the delay...computer problems....not as many as I usually shoot...was busy with frying turkeys, doing some carving (thanks Charmaine for the help), and making sure I got some food before it disappeared!

Thanks to Rosemary for the use of her patio during the chilly and windy weather!

The day started out windy, overcast and cold, but the sun finally broke thru. Notice the waves off Playa de Oro....a good 6-8 feet.

Also some shots of the ship-wrecked derelict Fiesta Cruiser off Sandy Beach. The tides were high enough Thanksgiving night and the next day, with new moon high tides, but they blew it. It sure would make a great scuba diving reef!

Thanks, Joe. I didn't take many pix this year (for some reason???). Maybe because a dog bit my lip - lol (BTW - I still have a lump on lower lip). Just givin ya a hard time. Hope all's well.
