We think alike.....Ok, so my company name is AMAZON COATINGS.....I picked the name, because, according to the dictionary, an AMAZON is a "Fierce, woman warrior". That description fit me to a "T". I've always done things that were considered "un-ladylike"....LOL. I'm a "grown-up Tomboy"...

Ok Esperanza, you're officially part of the drinkin', smokin', cussin' women's club with Chari, Rosie, and me! We should get together one night as couples with all of our signicant others and drink their asses under the table.

Just checked out your website. Wow, where were you guys when I was pulling up double rows of carpet tacks to get to the concrete floor that was poured with pigment in the house we lived in that was built in 1948. I can't tell you how much I would've have loved to skimcoat that damn floor instead of filling the carpet tack holes and sealing it myself!!! You do gorgeous work, Driveway Girl!

Yea, you should see her cuss me out when we are driving in Mexico, shes sceaming cuss words, smoking, drinking, but the minute we pass one of those religious shrines on the side of the road it all stops, while she does the holy cross on her chest and head, then it starts again, couple minutes later another shrine and it stops.

Oh Yeah! I forgot that your wife was Mexican! So that means, my husband and Lori's husband are Mexican, Rosie is Mexican - Rosie's Significant Other (not sure?) Lagrimas' wife is Mexican. Chari, does Jerry speak Spanish??? We could have a bilingual cuss/drink fest!

My hubby, Francisco, is Mexican. But he reserves the right to remain invisible. It's part of the deal we made when we married...he won't try to keep me out of the center ring so long as I don't try to make him be part of the circus.

Why thank you very much....I started the company and DH came along later....he's the real TALENT here!

I'm all in the the Couple Night! I must admit though, I've mellowed as I've aged....AND found the LOVE of a wonderful man. I don't need to prove anything anymore to anyone!!

Chari is the social worker, right? I know I'm the Italian. You haven't given Lori a good reason yet, that's all. I can't believe you still remember that! I think you secretly liked it! LOL

Not in it to prove anything either. I don't do that sort of thing very often anymore. And I know what you mean about finding the love of a wonderful man, too. I'm lucky to have mine - I always say I got better than I deserved. I'll bet yours is really proud of the business you started and he helped you grow.

You guys crack me up! LOL! I am English and Irish. (Ainsworth and a red head, pretty obvious) Jerry does not speak Spanish altho he is equal parts white, Mexican and Native American. I can do the talkin' for both of us... LOL! I, too, am lucky I found Jerry, Or I should say, he found me. He made the whole mierda of my life worth waiting for. Bill, I know you liked fighting with me and Melissa. We managed to shut you up! LOL! We love you, Bill.....But, I have to ask, the SS worker? What does that mean? I am the social worker......

Started reading this thread which seemed to drift off topic. Mirimar Beach, Luna Blanca and Encanto.

We are long time visitors to PP and have stayed many different places over the years (hope to own someday). We liked staying on Sandy Beach, but over the last couple years we have rented at Luna Blanca. We love it out there because it is so private and so beautiful. No vendors!!! Tons of seashells. Depending on how long we stay we bring most of our own food, yet still venture into town for dinner, shopping, etc. It is about 15-20 minutes, which we do not consider bad at all. Probably because that is less than our morning commute in Phoenix! For us it is perfect and we appreciate the seculsion. Having the beach to ourselves is priceless. That is what we call a vacation :thumbsup:

Adobes for sale at santo Tomas area...50 cents each in large quantities...I mention this because I think you are about to make the mistake of making adobes to close to the sea.Salt in the air will effect them in the curing process
