It depends. If you do not have the feature enabled that allows you to view .html images in your e-mail, you should be safe. Most of the time you actually have to open the attachment or click on links in the e-mail in order to activate the virus. Never open or click on suspicious attachments and URLs and always maintain your antivirus and anti-spyware software up-to-date, alsof a certain stoplight smashin codger sends you a link to look at his new Ukrainian wife don't open it.
I have no idea who he could be talking about. My wife's not Ukranian. She's hillbillyian. Don't pick on me today. I had a crappy golf game and lost $1.50

I don't know what that means. How would I find that out?

Hey the pictures of his Ukrainian wife were HOT ! But he said it was his novia. That GV, ya gotta watch him. He said he tells his wife he went to play golf when he visits her.

I don't know what e-mail program you use, but look in the menu bar and you may see something that says View.
Open it and see if it has a command that says Preview Pane. If it is checked it allows the email program to show images and the like on any email you receive.
This can possible carry a virus, but 9 times out of 10 it is from an attachment.

Now this is not a threat, but a promise. One word to my wife about the novia and you will be out there with those 35,000 dead clams. Kapish???

You can't get a better program for any price, and because their always improving it, I always download it right before I use it. The full scan takes some time because it's so thorough, so just start it, and then go have some Thunderbird.

Has it cooled down there some today? A system has come through up here, and it's nice.
