BORDER CROSSING Sonoita & Baja

I have been reading some of your threads. My best advice is to call the Mexican Visitors Bureau. They 'arrange' things to be easier where they want visitors. They have a strong presence in most of Baja and it is supposed to be a 'no hassle' entry/exit. Sorry to hear it is getting worse? I just moved back to Ajo permanently and never had an issue. I haven't been here long enough to go back again but previously, I not only shopped in the town of Sonoita, I went to Rocky Point many times - which is disgusting. There is a street in Sonoita called 'Rodeo Drive' and you can buy LOTS of the same goodies they have in Rocky Point (Unless you're going for the drugs). Very cute and well made art. I will have to find the name of the street. My friend took me there and I can't remember but I will let you know. Also, the new dentist right on the border has a new provider/owner there. AVOID. He does not know what he is doing. Feel free to let me know if this remark is outdated.

If they are still planning on building the Cruise Ship Port at Rock Point, they will want to protect this area from hassle, etc. It is very valuable to them. And some more valuable links:

I used to live in Mexico before we ruined it, and one time I had a situation at the airport. They got a room for my children and I and another plane ticket for free!
