The Modelo/Corona/Pacifico plant was scrapped after 50% built. Not enough H2O in Tij/Mexicali area to support it. It's being relocated to Monterrey.Would a beer shortage have something to do with shutting down that plant in Mexicali earlier in the year over some govt regulations drama?
Thanks for the clarification. The Modelo/Corona/Pacifico plant was scrapped after 50% built. Not enough H2O in Tij/Mexicali area to support it. It's being relocated to Monterrey.
Who do we blame for that?No shortage. Just Americanized inflation ruining a great place.
Who do we blame for that?
I used to get Pacifico in cases of real bottles (20?) at Reggie's 8/12 on the way to Las Conchas on Freemont but that was ages ago. You'd pay extra and then get like $5 back with a completely full case of empties. We used to buy Pacifico at I think it’s Antonios at the bottom of the hill headed up to El Capitan. Now hearing there is no Pacifico in town. Is this true?
That liquor store hasn't sold Corona/Pacifico products in several years. We used to buy Pacifico at I think it’s Antonios at the bottom of the hill headed up to El Capitan. Now hearing there is no Pacifico in town. Is this true?
Great, now I have to make my terrible homemade beer again.I guess we need to slow down with our beer consumption to help correct the beer shortage situation.
