It is soooo dangerous here - watched three little girls get their kite entangled in a palm tree & they couldn't get it undone. Before they could begin to wimper 2 of our guards showed up to come to their rescue and had the kite loose in minutes. The girls happily went back to the beach to fly it some more.

This is our Penasco - it has no relationship to the U.S. press. It is filled with people who don't even wait to be asked to help. And they do it with a big smile. Helping a child with a kite is a small thing, but their hearts are big.

We got our pirate kite to fly on the beach in Las Conchas, but then at the condo in Miramar it kept taking a nosedive! A distressing time indeed!

Not everyone has the same experience though... mine was much worse this past week. I spilled my beer on several occasions and got a little too much sun one day. A bit too dangerous to be honest, might not go back (until October).

Thats right Ladyjeeper, the fine for spilling beer is 2 cases of the finest beer in town.
One to Ladyjeeper and one to myself when Im there in July.
