Asparagus

Arriving March 7 just curious how the asparagus crop is coming along. Has anyone heard. My gout is enquiring.

Just ate 2 bunches of asparagus sauteed in garlic and butter and it was delicious with the crab cakes my wife made.....10-12 pesos a bunch

Devoured about the same amount yesterday after a trip from town. They're also great tossed in garlic and oil, and thrown on the grill for maybe 3 minutes per side for a little char.

Got a bunch from Fruteria Sinaloa and they were fabulous last night.

Got a bunch from Fruteria Sinaloa and they were fabulous last night.

We love that place. Got asparagus too as well as 5 or 6 bags full of other misc fruits and veggies last week. Very fresh and very inexpensive!
