Tired of all of the crap about safety

As I read the posts I get so tired of all the posts and replies expounding on safety issues in MEXICO. Rocky Point is not Mexico! Daily I watch the news and hear about all of the murders, raping, muggings, robberies etc in Phoenix. Yet the people living there just ignore them and talk about how unsafe Rocky Point is. Talk about Ostriges. These people need to wake up and look at the realities of living and dealing with the things around us.
Why are so many people tunnel viewing the world?

```As a matter of fact we drove by yesterday about 2:30 pm on our way home from 2-wks. in Laughlin, & Bullhead City, ~ ~ ~ for the annual biker run, ~ ~ ~ as we went by the "OSTRICH FARM" ~ ~ ~ I looked over & was going to wave, ~ ~ ~ but I couldn't tell which one was ol Bill, ``` as they ALL had their ....... well you know, in the AIR ! ! ! :lol: :lol: :lol: ```

I laced the feathers with a little happy powder and they are selling like crazy. $ 25.00 a feather and lots of very happy and return customers. I had to stop sellng the eggs as th feather group kept having egg tosses with them.

There are bad things happening everywhere. We cannot say "Rocky Point" is totally safe just like we cannot say "Phoenix is totally safe." No where is safe. Yes the Texas border has the worst cases of drug cartel killings and so on but it is only time before all bordering areas succumb to this violence. We must be proactive and take off our rose colored glasses so Rocky Point does not fall to the cartels like so many other places have. It is just common sense

They have worked here forever, however before it was quiet, they used to bump a few of them, just not in town, Anybody that has been to Rocky Point has intermingled with them in one way or the other and may even know some by name without knowing what else they do. Back in the old days when the town was small, when fishing was slow thats what got everybody by. Trust me, if the locals wanted them gone they would be gone, from RP anyway. They want them to stop killing, but gone never, to many people depend on them.
