How I keep my floors warmer without cost

So I am tired of this cold weather already, it cost too much to run my electric heaters so I had to come up with something. The photos are the test run to make sure it works before I penetrate the block wall on my house.
It is a air heater made from the following materials
25' of Flex hose (the type used for dryer vents
2x6 wood to build a box
Piece of glass 4 x 4 or whatever bought used for 100 pesos
4" sewer ABS line Black
4" fan (the type you use in a computer bought new for 41 pesos
12 volt Solar panel, gift from my pop in law

When the sun comes up in the morning it heats the air inside the tube in the box, about the same time the solar collector creates enough energy to start the fan which pushes air from inside the house through the tube and then back into the house so it replaces the air with warmer air. The temp difference is about 7 degrees from whats going out to whats coming in and that increases as we go through the day. It warms the tile up and it stores the heat and of releases that through the night. It does not burn us out but it is free heat from cheap stuff. I may make it bigger to collect more heat after what we are experiencing right now, I will keep you posted

That's a good idea, and I love the Dr. Seuss explanation as well... It was 16 or 17 here Jerry.

fun idea ... how cold was it down your way last night....4 degrees in bowie!
It was bone chillin cold last night. We fought back by inviting a bunch of friends over and playing a dice game and eating pizza and suicide wings from Brothers Pizza. The body heat helped take a bit of the chill off. ha ha

All of the doctors contraptions work, and his saying's are very much words of wisdom.

Oh so many years back I took an alternatative energy class. It t mainley focused on heating water but heat is heat. We used 2 x 6 frame 4 ft wide by 8 ft tell with in effect a couragated roof mounted in the middle. Metal held up from the bottom and down from the top about 8 in. Paint the metal with flaf black paint and add glass to the top and wood to the back. Cut a opening in the bottom and top of the wood for in and out ports Either pipe direct or use a fan but the heat should rise to the top and vent in to the home. If you use a fan you can vent from the home through the bottom of a window and back in through toe top of the same window. Use your imagination and it works. At one time I lived in Holbrook Az and one cold winter, about 15 deg, day I leaned against a plain galvenized metal door and was amazed that it almost burned my skin. It had to be at least 130 deg.
