Does anyone know what the normal costs are to rent ATVs, Dune Buggies, Jet water skies, Horseback riding, Para sailing, etc., are? We are going to have grandkids down and would love to let the do some of the above but are on a restricted budget too

Do any of them take credit cards, US checks or does it have to be in cash (will US dollars work)?

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I went ATV riding, I think it was $20 or $30 for an hour for the "faster" ATV.

We stopped after my wife flipped it and almost killed me.

It was cash, they took US.

Prices are very elastic for all this stuff. It's very slow here and sometimes they actually increase their rate in an attempt to make more money rather than lower the rate to attract business. I have not seen para sailing in a long time. For ATV's go off Calle 13 near the end and talk to Luis, the first renter on the right. He's pretty straight and runs a good business and I think he takes credit cards. He's got ATV and the larger golf cart like rigs. Horse rentals are found near Playa Bonita right along the main drag. You can probably find jet ski rentals on the right hand side off the road to the Malecon where you can also set up a fishing boat. You might consider one of the harbor cruises, the kids would probably like that. Most will take dollars for this kind of stuff with no problem. Unfortunately there does not appear to be one location where you can get all of the information you are looking for. You'll just have to go shoppin prices.

I'm pretty sure it was about u$ 20 per hour for atv rentals.We opted to take a sunset trip on the "El rey del mar" ship, I think it was about U$25 per person , they have a little silly act with pirates and dancing that the kids loved(ages 6-11) heres the link to them and others, have fun! http://www.rockypointboattrips.com/sunset.html
