Fishing off the jetty near Wrecked on Sandy Beach

I was wondering if they allow fishing off the unfinished jetty near Wrecked.
It looks like a perfect spot with all the rocks.

To my knowledge, they do not. The entrance was fenced off and there was a security guard that would run you off, from my understanding. I don't know what the current situation is because the project hasn't seen an activity for awhile that I'm aware of. Maybe somebody that's been there recently can chime in.

Would be easier to get a panga to take you there to fish. Wouldn't cost much and nothing they could do about it.

We were at the Wrecked on Saturday and there was no work happening. Crane that was there is gone. Don't think I saw any guards but I wasn't looking.

That is the way it has been. Jetty and beach closed.
