Fishing charters in Rocky Pt?

This weekend I'll be heading down to Las Conchas with 2 friends and our wives. Us three guys will try wading into La Pinta Estuary and up near Cholla Bay throwing Kastmasters at Corvina if there are any, but we wondered if anybody takes fishermen out on boats for a half day of fishing for white sea bass, snapper, yellowfin tuna and the like. I know about the trigger fish excursions on the pangas, have done that twice and didn't care for it. Is there any commercial guide service offering an experience that's a level or two above sitting in a panga baitfishing for triggers?

I'm not looking to catch monster black bass, just something more interesting than trigger fish. Even good-sized Corvina would be interesting. I do a fair amount of freshwater fishing and consider any sportfish over 5 lbs pretty exciting.

Any tips would be appreciated.

The grouper bite has been fantastic all summer, but will now wane going into fall. You still have a great shot at sardinero (leopard grouper) and pinto bass on the closer reefs. The deeper reefs are just now turning on with halibut, red snapper, gold-spot bass and yellowtail. There were numerous small dorado caught last weekend, but your chances of catching a yellowfin tuna in Rocky Point are very, very slim, no matter how far out you go. Skipjacks yes, but not yellowfin. Think San Diego if you want to catch tuna.

Hope this helps!
