Thought it was a cat till I noticed the tail and pointed snout. Googled and there are Foxes in the Sonoran desert. This one was on vaca in Penasco apparently. Have pic won't download will try later.

Under the impression that Green Valley is in the Sonoran Desert, I will report I have seen a number of Fox or is it Foxes around here and at the golf course.
I wonder if they co-exist with the bob cats that are quite numerous here.

We saw a fox crossing the road to the resorts near Black Mountain close to the RR crossing last week at 7:30pm.
A few years ago we saw one in the ravine/wash coming from Sandy Beach to Pinto Point in Cholla.

Believe it or don't, I actually saw a gray fox below the lighthouse at Puerto Lobos. We were cruising around the point and I spotted it running across the rocks above the shoreline. I noticed it had the gait and profile (low, bushy tail) of a fox but couldn't believe that's what it was. As we came closer it stopped and I got a good look at it including its fur color. No question, it was a gray fox. I've seen quite a few.

Up until last night, the only foxes I had seen were by Playa Miramar. We saw one on our return to Tucson yesterday outside of Sells.
