I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering why? KVOA posted a news story in the last hour and titled it, "Travel Warning in effect for parts of Mexico." Okay, we all knew that, there has been one for how many years now by the State Dept? But this is where the story gets outrageous- it starts off by saying, "A new travel warning in Mexico. It alerts the public that drug cartel violence has moved-into areas frequented by tourists. The State Department issued a state by state assessment of the risks. It included the state of Sonora." Then at the bottom of the article, it has the specific travel warning from the State Dept which is dated........JULY 12, 2013! This isn't new, this is nothing but pure hype to make a story. Are they that desperate for news that have to invent it? Travel Warning in effect for parts of Mexico | KVOA.com | Tucson, Arizona
