What are the new rules for bringing a boat across the border?

I know this was recently discussed but I cannot find the thread. Now I am pressed into bringing my sons sailboat down. Thanks.

I don't think they'll care if its a small sail, no motor under 16' common day sailer. Larger maybe an issue, especially if you could live
aboard, then you will need the permit.

What size sailboat is it? I take my Hobie 16 at least twice a year and have never had a problem. I'm headed down at the end of the month, so if you run into any problems please let me know. Vern

It is a 14' Lido, no motor. I did read a post recently that said a new permit is required and that the permit itself was not available at the Lukeville crossing.
