Just got back yesterday from an extended weekend visit. Although it was overcast and windy on Friday, it cleared up by Sat. afternoon, and was very nice, but still somewhat windy. Definitely not swimming in the ocean weather...but very pleasant. There were more RV'ers in the few remaining parks then I've seen in a long time. Saw several small caravans of large rv's heading down when I drove back yesterday afternoon.
The malecon street was all torn up and blocked off over the weekend, but parking access was available to the lot by the water, as well as street parking one block up....the old pavement was gone by Friday, but grading and filling in with rock was happening on Sat./Sunday. By late Sunday afternoon, there were a few cars driving by on the dirt. Hopefully the street will get paved early this week.
