Tiburones Baseball - A Great Summer Night

If you haven't gone to one of the Tiburones' baseball games you are missing out on an old fashioned summer night memory.
We went last night - splurged on the best seats in the house - behind home base - and paid $100 pesos (about $8 +/-) for the two of us. Met friends there - and met some new friends. Parking was easy - and free. Statium was covered and had netting protecting the crowd - twice balls came right at us and the pitcher was throwing pitches at 90+ mph appreciated the netting, although DH said he could have caught them. There was a band - music from The Adams Family - we did the chop - we chanted (didn't seem to matter that I didn't have the slightest idea of what I was chanting but I did get in "Tiburones" with the rest. There were tons of families with kids. Everyone was having a great time and no one effected adversely by the beer they were enjoying - it was a happy crowd. We cheered when the Tiburones made great plays (like the home run) - we cheered when they goofed - we cheered the other team when they made a great play. People wandered around and everyone talked to each other. Didn't seem to matter where you sat.

It is a great place to take kids for a fun night and something different. A great place to meet up with friends and to make new ones quickly.

As you can tell - we had a great night. Tiburones Rock!

It was good to see you guys there! Of course I got there just in time to watch the end of the game, but was impressed with how much fun everyone was having. Hope to see you at another game soon, Gato!

We'll be there. It was such a fantastic place to take kids. The tourists that come down with their families and are looking for something for the kids at night don't know what they are missing. I would imagine the Little League games are wonderful too. Our grandson is hopefully coming down in July and we will definately take him to the game if there is one while he is here. Any fences in your future? lol
