The one that got away

I'll post more later, but I have these of the one that got away. I fought him till the sun went down. Jerry saw him when I got him close, and right before he spit the hook, and he was round, not flat! He said he saw a flash of Orange.. He took me about 60 yards down the beach, rocked me up twice, and at one time was almost to the mainland. One of the best fish I didn't catch.:-D

Today Where did you have flat water like that ?
That was down by Jerry's place, a week ago today I believe. I've got more pictures, but I'm waiting for Jerry to either send me his, or to post em, so they won't be all spread out. All of the Corvina were nice, and yes Jerry caught some too, but those pictures are on his camera.. Here's our Aussie friend Matt, with some of the very nice "average" sized fish we caught.

Have you ever seen a bigger shore fished corvina?
Thanks Wahoo, but yes. This one was probably a couple of pounds heavier and a good 30" long, but the angle, plus they way my shirt is stretched down doesn't do it justice. This one was also caught the first week in June, but at Marua a few years ago..

Well thanks dog. Are you feeling OK as of late?.:?.. You seem to have caught something that with a little nurturing might just stick around awhile.:-D
