I finally drove over there & checked it out. SUPER COOL! I really love all the recent progress that's going on in RP.. Their paving so many roads, cruise ship home port, sams club, auto zone, new restaurant's, convention center, movie theater, old port now looks incredible, governor in town last week.. I Played Laguna Del Mar golf course the other day & the grass was like a perfect green carpet ( you could put on the fairways they were so perfect )....Super happy to be retired in RP...

We thought the same thing too. Upon further inspection there is a security camera directly above it which is in constant motion and about 50 feet in the air so it would have to be someone who wanted to get caught
If someone is actually monitoring the security feed from the camera and they could act quickly. Otherwise, if on videotape, it's just going to be any one of many, many Mexican kids wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
Not trying to be "glass half-empty" here because I honestly would hate to see this beautiful monument defaced in any way. I'd hope the kids would take pride in what their city is becoming. Unfortunately, for the taggers, it's a badge of courage to see their scrawl in such a public place and an even bigger badge to be the first to do it. Traveling through Mazatlan over Thanksgiving, I was really very surprised at how much graffiti was virtually everywhere in the city. Never used to be like that.

We just had our subdivision blick wall all painted in az and the first night the fricken taggers got to it...Wish they would catch the peeps and give them a nice large building to paint, since they enjoy it so much!
