I wish! I hope to have one by Spring. I filmed this with my Galaxy S3 actually, it shoots in full 1080p. Pretty good for a cell phone huh?! I rigged a mount on the inside of the cab, drivers side. I was just tooling around with it, pretty addicting though, definitely want the new GoPro Hero 3 and hope to have one by Spring time.

back in the mid to late 90's there was an unfinished home in Cholla Bay that looked like a castle (I think it was on the highest point). We used to hit golf balls from the top deck. any idea if the home was finished or what the story is behind it?

That house belongs to el gringo Loco, They started another one next to it and its a war to see who is king of the hill. They will never finish that house. Gringo loco is Susan Finn Husband.

Don't you just love that truck he drives around town with the sound system loud enough that you can hear it inside a building?

The Gringo Loco house is a joke. The driveway is so Mexican, it might literally be a 65 degree incline, no joke. I heard he lives in the trailer on the front of the property. I guess the story goes that he and the neighbor are having a who can build is bigger and gaudier contest. I've heard the house will never be finished and it is an eye sore of unorganized rebar. Like Terry C says, pry $800,000 in rebar. Kind of a shame, pry would have been one of the nicest houses in Cholla Bay with the view alone!

$800K in Rusty Rebar.
Back in 1988 when we were looking for a lot in RP we entertained buying the lot. We realized it would be a pain to get up to. One suggestion was to park at the boat house below which was part of the deal and build an elevator. At the time $42K for the lot with boat house below, was a bit pricey. LOL. But it does have a view that is tough to beat.
One other problem with it is the wind, it always has a breeze because of the elevation, great for keeping cool but tough on houses.
