Spambots

In an effort to combat the growing plague of spambots (they just keep getting smarter), I have restricted new forum members to verified email address. That means, that new users can only register from a link sent to their email address.

It's short of manual registration, which I have done in the past, to keep these bastard spammers outta here.

If anyone has problems (friend, co worker, whoever) getting on the forum, shoot me an email at compuquill............. @.........msn.com.

Wow! 1041 spambot emails since I changed the setting on Monday. I had no idea we were getting hammered THAT hard! But on the bright side, I can click and delete those emails easier than playing hunt and kill here once they've managed to register and start posting their nonsense.

Anybody know a cartel guy with an AK-47 I can hire to take out these spammers? :lobster:
