Shrimp Boats - October 6, 2011

It is a little after 9:30am and we've been watching the shrimp boats headed into port.

No A/C on today - in fact DH came back in and put on a sweater before venturing out. Obviously gettting part of the Pacific storm that is headed for AZ. DS in Utah said they were getting snow yesterday and family in Vegas said it was trying to rain - and cold.

Fortunately our lovely October weather is suppose to come back quickly and the sweater can just as quickly be put away

Yesterday we finally turned off the A\C and opened the doors and windows... this morning we had to turn on the water-heater for showers... quite a difference in just one day....

Wunderground is predicting the lower to mid 90's next week, with it being humid the later part. I'll take it no matter what!!

What's up Mark? Getting a little soft these days? I thought that you went year round without a water heater... Personally, I like a hot shower no matter what the weather is like outside.

No Jim those days are over... we've modernized and now we have hot water at the flip of a switch...

My wife told me to stop complaining about the heat because in a few months I would be complaining about the cold, she said that 4 days ago. I am already complaining about the cold!

Brrrrrr....was running the A/C in the truck a couple of days...this morning the temp gage in the truick read 60!

By afternoon the winds had stopped and it was beautiful (with a few clouds in the distance) - otro día en Paridise.
