Nice night so I had the bedroom window wide open and was awakened by a barking sound, maybe 7 AM. No , not a dog, definately. It was loud enough to be heard clearly 1/2 block off Matamoros, the beach road. 2 or 3 barks then quiet, repeat, repeat. Finally got up out of bed to peer out the window, but of course no barking then and nothing in sight. Back into the sack, barking continues periodically. Up and look again, nothing. Back in the sack. More barking and sounds closer. Hmmmm, ok up out of bed pull on some shorts and a T and walk down to Matamoros. Nothing in sight except for some human walkers who showed no unusual interest in anything like a roaming Sea Lion. Wonder if anyone on the forum was staying at Playa de Oro this morning. They definately would have heard the barking. Just can't believe the sound came from the beach.
