Older model sea doos one has throttle cable came off the carbs, other just needs tune up. Cheap Pocho does not want to pay an arm and a leg.

Where are they located...Penasco or back in AZ?

....with the one with the throttle cable, if the part can't be repaired, a new one will have to come from Canada....most of the Seadoo dealers stock very little in parts.....it's a pain getting them worked on....or even scheduling work. You've got to "know someone" at the dealership/repair shop. It ain't cheap getting them worked on.....

There's a place on Calle 13...near El Sombrero.... that works on jetskis, atv, golf carts....

No problem. Bring them by with a $250.00 deposit and I'll get to them some time. You'll have to park them in the street.

No, that's dollars and just the deposit not the final bill.
Sheesh Playa, stop at Autozone and buy some polish !!! It's about a 15 minute job by hand.

Polishing the lenses is a temporary fix. They will become dull and hazy in a couple of months and you will need to polish them again. Another and much better method is to sand the protective clear coating off of the lenses, and spray them with a 2-part urethane clear coat. Same stuff your car has on the paint. Makes them look like new, and they will last indefinitely.

Final sanding should be with 800 or 1000 grit with water. If the lens is really yellowed or hazed start with 600 and work it down until all of the discoloration has been removed. Then go to the finer grit. You can do it by hand or with a DA air sander. Hand sand/scrub the corners and edges with a gray scotch brite pad. Wash well with liquid dish soap and water, rinse well and blow dry. Apply 2 coats of clear coat. You can smoke tail lamps using the same method, just add a little black to the clear coat!

Don't know how it work's or why it work's, but the home remedy in Mexico for clearing up headlights fast, is simply rub some brake fluid on them and in about 2 second's they are clear again.
